Obituary
"Grandpa" John P. Barber, 81, died Sunday.
He was born in Sand Springs, Okla., to Jesse and Sarah Barber. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for 22 years as a photographer. He married Margot Ann Koch in Belton, Texas, on June 4, 1958. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by three daughters, Aimee Auby, Monika Gambrel and Margot Cecil.
A Celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 1305 Hill St. S.E., Albany.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SafeHaven Humane Society.
