John Wayne Harkness' Obituary
John Wayne Harkness, 64, of Albany passed away Monday at his home.
He was born in Tennesee the son of Elbert and Mary (Baskin) Harkness. He was raised in Covington, Tenn., and served in the U.S. Military during the Vietnam Conflict.
John worked as a prison guard and police officer before retiring and coming to Albany.
A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
