Joyce (Buker) Cardin

July 29, 1931 – January 12, 2018

Joyce Cardin, 86 of Albany, passed away on January 12, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

Joyce was born in Waldport, Oregon to Cliff and Bessie Buker.  She attended school in Waldport and lived most of her life on the Oregon coast.  She moved to Albany in 2009 to be closer to her family.

Joyce was married to Cal Cardin until his death in 2008.  She worked for the United States post office in Waldport until her retirement.  Her hobbies included bowling, traveling, playing bingo, and going to the casino.

She was preceded in death by her husband Cal, both parents, and eight brothers and sisters.

Joyce is survived by her children Marilyn and Terry; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lola.

A memorial service will take place in Waldport at a later date and time to be announced.
