Juanita Ojeda, 78, of Lebanon, formerly of Albany, died Sunday, at Century Fields in Lebanon.
She was born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Sergio Murillo Lopez and Esther Hernandez.
She married Rudolpho Ojeda in Jefferson on March 25, 1974. They lived in Albany for 38 years and moved to Lebanon in 2011.
She worked tirelessly at home to raise nine children. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and cooking. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albany.
She is remembered as a happy, generous and accommodating person who loved her family very much.
Preceeding her in death are her parents; daughter Maria Montez; and son Antonio Torres.
Surviving is her husband Rudolpho; daughters Leticia Lopez of Albany, Juanita Smart, of Corvallis, Moricela Olvera of Corvallis, Sonia Velasquez of Corvallis; sons Raphael Torres of Lebanon, Miquel Torrez of Portland and Eddie Hernandez of Albany; 26 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Wednesday at Aasum-Dufour Funeral Home. A Catholic Rosary will be at 7 p.m. following the viewing. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a,m, Thursday, Aug. 16. followed by a graveside committal at Willamette Memorial Park.
