Judith Ellen Kinney

September 27, 1939 – March 24, 2017

Judith Kinney passed away on March 24, 2017 as a result of an auto accident.  She was dearly loved by many family and friends and will be deeply missed

Judie was born on September 27, 1939 in Salem, Massachusetts.  Her family moved to Oregon and she graduated from Bend High School in 1958.  Judie then went on to nursing school at Good Samaritan in Portland, OR.  She graduated and became a nurse and proceeded to work on and off in the medical field until she retired.

Judie married Stanley A. Kinney on April 26, 1968.  They had one daughter, Naomi Kinney.

Judie enjoyed doing cross stitch, sewing and other fancy work including beading.  She also loved attending pow-wows.  Judie was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Albany and was a past president of LWML.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Harold Jones and her sister Deila Jones.

Judie is survived by her daughter Naomi Kinney of Gig Harbor, WA; grandchildren Daniel, Hunter and Diana Gramsee-Bowman of St. Paul Minnesota.

A celebration of life service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Albany on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to help cover household living expenses.  Donations in Judie's name can be mailed to Gladys Harter (4949 Samish Way #20 Bellingham, WA 98229).
