IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julie Caroleann
Drebing
April 28, 1956 – May 20, 2020
Julie Caroleann Drebing, 64, passed away in her sleep at her home in Albany, on May 20, 2020, after a long illness. She was born in 1956 in Murray, Utah, and spent her teenage years in Fresno, California. As a young adult, she moved to Oregon where she worked for over 25 years for the Salem Police Department as a records clerk.
She loved Dancing, mystery puzzles, art and spiritual connection.
Her flight to the angels was preceded by her mother and father.
She is survived by her sister Jeane, husband Brian and their children.
She will be remembered and missed, especially by her soul-mate Rodney Nichols. Those who knew her loved her as a caring person who gave joy and support to those around her and who always sought to be positive and honest.
The Dancer
You cannot see me, but I am here.
You cannot touch me, but I am to be held.
Mysterious and intriguing am I? Yes, and I am yours.
You can find me! Take the challenge!
I am the jagged edges of the majestic mountains,
And the gentle curve of an out-stretched eagle wing.
I am the roughness of an aged, weathered, burlap sack,
And the softness of the white fluff of a dandelion.
I am the withered face of the aged,
And the smooth innocence of the new-born babe.
I am the melody that penetrates your mind-body-soul,
And the dance that sets you free.
I am of, and a gift from, your Father Most High,
I am expression.
Then take me into the palms of your hands,
And mold me to your fingertips.
Take the challenge. Let our dance begin!
