Katrina Lee MorrisonAug. 11, 1947 - Dec. 4, 2009Katrina L. Morrison, 62, died on Friday at her home in Lebanon.She was born in Newport News, Va., to Jack and Margie (Pickard) Hyland, the oldest of five siblings.  Her father served as an Army Sergeant moving the family to Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado and Illinois where she received her GED. She married Ray Morrison in Council Bluffs, Iowa on Sept. 19, 1979, and renewed her vows on July 26, 1999, in Lebanon.She worked as a truck stop waitress in Tulsa, Okla., and Lewisville, Neb.; a co-truck driver with her husband (living in Red Oak, Iowa, Gresham and Lebanon).  She then worked for 21 years at Wallmart as a cashier.In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, wildlife, camping, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.She was preceeded in death by her parents.She is survived by husband Ray; daughters Violet Pixley of Corbett and BarbaraRosinsky of Portland; son Phillip Parker of China Springs, Texas; sister Gretchen Hyland of Houston, Texas; brothers Franz Hyland of Waco, Texas, Hans Hyland of Gervais; sister Yetta Skidmore of VanAlstyne, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.A viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at AAsum-Dufour Funearl Home with burial to follow at Gilliland Cemetery in Sweet Home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
