Kenneth Lee Saylor, Sr.

Kenneth (Kenny) Lee Saylor, Sr. 67, of Albany passed away peacefully at home on Thursday May 1, 2014.
Kenneth was born in Los Angeles, California to Robert Elijah and Rose Marie (Larrabee) Saylor. He was raised in Inglewood, California. As a young man he lived in Inglewood, Hawthorne & Manhattan Beach California before moving to Cherry Valley, California in 1989 where he resided until relocating to Albany, Oregon in 2003.
Kenny owned and operated Freeman Auto Body Shop in Hawthorne, California. After relocating to Cherry Valley, California he owned and operated Trans Am Express, a trucking business until moving to Oregon where he worked in warehousing.
Kenny loved anything that went fast, race boats, cars & drag racing. He also had a passion for custom cars, fishing, old western movies and spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.
Kenneth is survived by three children, Gina Suzanne Saylor of Woodbridge, IL, Kenneth Lee Saylor Jr. of Lebanon, OR and Joshua Craig Johnson of Yucaipa, CA; Grand-daughters Kimberly Gorden & Kiera Saylor; Great-grandchildren Ryan & Emily Whitlow; Brothers Robert Saylor, Fredric Saylor & Sister Renie Gubser.
His giving nature and humorous personality will be missed by his family and many friends.
A celebration of life BBQ/Potluck will be held June 28th at 11:00 am at Bryant Park (River Shelter #2 - 800 Bryant Way SW, Albany, OR).
