Kevin James McBrearty

October 7, 1974 - May 17, 2023 Kevin was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in San Diego, CA. Kevin was a loving and devoted father to Kristina and Kayla who were his pride and joy. A cherished brother and best friend to Kelly, a precious son to Sharon and James, the absolute best Uncle to Jordan, Amber, Alexis, Aidan and Peyton and a loved cousin, nephew and friend to so many. Kevin loved his family and friends tremendously and was the most generous, thoughtful and caring person. Kevin lived and loved big and gave 100 percent of himself in every facet of his life. Kevin will be remembered for his zest for life, his hard work ethic, his protectiveness of those he loved, his silly humor, the countless smiles he brought to us and his tenacity to never give up, no matter what. Kevin recently relocated to Oregon to start a new chapter and we will forever keep dreaming with him of the plans and hopes he had for the future.

We will keep with us his strength, humor, hope and kindness and pray he knows just how much he meant to so many people and the positive impact he had on us all even when he couldn't see it at the time. Kevin's heart was too big for this world and it tragically gave out on him too soon in his sleep. We will try to take solace that Kevin is no longer in pain and riding free, full throttle in paradise. We will miss you forever and love you more than words Kevin.

A memorial for Kevin will be held at Crown Point, San Diego on June 4th at 11 am.
