Laura Lea Mae Hayes 87 of Lyons, passed away on Wednesday, at her Residence.
Laura was born in Coos Bay, OR to Hurley M. and Rose B. (Emmons) Collver. She grew up in Coos Bay, and graduated from high school there. Laura lived in Coos Bay for 63 years and moved to Albany in 1989 and then to Lyons in 2011. She was married four times surviving all four husbands. Laura worked as a waitress and cook in restaurants most of her adult life. She retired from the Coos Bay school District after driving school bus for 10 years.
Laura is survived by , daughters Diane Hyde and Laurie Mathis Piper; sons Willard Hyde and Robert Hyde; brother John Collver; sisters Donna Graham, Ruth Strassmear and Linda Ireland and 3 grandchildren 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands; Willard Hyde, Charles Edwards, Dean Mathis, and William Hayes.
At her request no public services will be held.
