Leland Paul Roache, known affectionately as Lee to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, in Sweet Home, Oregon. Born on January 10, 1942, in Santa Monica, CA, Lee's warm spirit and generous nature touched the lives of all who knew him.
Lee served his country with honor as a member of the Marine Corps, a period of his life that instilled in him a deep sense of duty and camaraderie. After his military service, he found solace and joy in working on cars. He often went out of his way to lend a helping hand or offer a friendly word.
Lee is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Roache, his daughter Leesa Scheele, and his son Mark Roache. They, along with his extended family and friends, will forever remember Lee's affable nature and his unwavering friendship.
Lee's life was a testament to the power of kindness, the strength of generosity, and the enduring nature of friendly bonds. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of warmth and benevolence will continue to inspire and guide us. Lee's story is not one of sorrow, but one of a life well-lived and well-loved.
