Leon A. Fosset Sr., passed away peacefully Thursday, August 27, 2026, due to complications from numerous health issues. Leon had a long career as a physicist at Hewlett-Packard, retiring in 2012. He loved solving problems as a failure analyst.

Leon loved the ocean, camping and being outdoors. He enjoyed talking to people and getting to know them, but he also enjoyed his solitude.

Leon leaves behind a son Leon Jr., daughter-in-law Stormie, two grandchildren Christoper and Keira, a brother Alan and sister-in-law Debbie, a sister Gwen and brother-in-law Brian. He was preceded in death by his father Lawerance, mother Wilma as well as his daughter Robin.

Leon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service for Leon is being planned for the end of September/beginning of October at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene in Albany, OR. (Reach out to his son Leon Jr. at leonfossett@gmail.com for details.)
