Leora Burldean WattsAugust 22, 1924 - October 26, 2009Leora Burldean Watts, 85 of Albany passed away Monday at her home.She was born in Fairbury, Neb., the daughter of Burl and Grace Rall. Leora was raised and graduated from high school in Fairbury and married Jack Grant Watts on Sept. 18, 1944, in Fairbury, then moved to Eugene in 1952. Leora and Jack owned and operated Bob's Superet in Albany from 1965 to 1970 then owned Food Land in Corvallis from 1970 to 1973 when they retired. Leora was an excellent seamstress and worked for Jo-Ann Fabrics. Leora's life was her children and grandchildren and she loved to go shopping. She was a member of Albany First Assembly of God Church for many years.She is survived by her sons, Bradley Grant and Jack Dale, both of Albany; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Leora was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; brother Jack Rall; and son Larry Dean Watts.Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Albany First Assembly's Joe Lack Chapel with a private Graveside at Willamette Memorial Park in Albany.
