Obituary

Linda was born in Lebanon, Oregon to John and Helen Roth. She graduated from Myrtle Creek High School in 1962 and moved to Albany with her husband Stephen in 1965.

In the past Linda worked at Hans and Gretel as a waitress, also at the Tom-Tom. She worked a few years in retail before transitioning into the Food Services Department at Linn Benton Community College. Linda has been with The City of Millersburg as an Assistant Recorder for 17 years. She was also a member of the Millersburg City Council and a member of the joint Albany/Millersburg Water/Waste Water Management Committee.

She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, was a long standing member of the SPCA and supported several charitable foundations. She also raised a small farm of animals and loved them all dearly, especially her two dogs, Tekko and Timmy Tim.

She is survived by Stephen, her husband, who stood by her side for over 50 years, loving sons Kary and Kelly, many adoring grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Sisters; Judy and Joy. Brothers; Johnny, Jeff, Jay and David, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dear friends Sharon and Herb Howell, Doris and Louis Gutierrez and beloved co-workers Barbara Castillo and LeAnn Chartraw.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Roth and Helen Hardesty. Stephens parents, Melvin and Francis Boyce and her brother Jimmy.

You are and have been and will always be so much to so many people it is hard to say good-by. Thanks for the life-lessons, the times; good and bad; because we learned from them, and the memories, you will be sorely missed, see you on the other side.

Please join us for a Celebration of Life that will be held at The Millersburg City Hall Saturday, March 17, 2012 from one to four pm.
