Linda Boyd, age 71 of Albany and Corvallis, passed away on Thursday, November 19 at home after a long illness.  She was with her family and her beloved dogs.

Linda was born in Carlinville, Illinois to Victor and Virginia (Clardy) Joseph.  At an early age, her family moved to Reedsport, Oregon.  She grew up there, graduated from Reedsport Union High School.  She married Patrick Val Boyd at the First Presbyterian Church in Reedsport.  They graduated from Oregon State University.  They lived for various times in Portland, Corvallis, Battle Creek Michigan, and Albany.

A passionate dog lover, Linda bred and raised Siberian Huskies and created with her daughter Kelly the Tovik Siberians kennel.

Linda is survived by her husband of 50 years Patrick, their children Joseph and Kelly, and her brother James Joseph of Edmond, Oklahoma.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Because of the pandemic, no in-person celebrations or memorials will be held.  We will have a Memorial website hosted by Aasum-Dufour Funeral Home and of course, Facebook.
