Lisa Jenell Morton

Dec. 17, 1969 — Dec. 16, 2016

Lisa Jenell Morton was born Dec. 17, 1969, in Geneva, Nebraska. Lisa went to her heavenly home on Dec. 16, 2016. She was a beautiful daughter, mother, and wife. Lisa was adopted by John and Margie Springer shortly after her birth and raised on a farm in rural Dorchester, Nebraska.

In 1979, the Springers made their way to Oregon and settled in Lebanon. In 1988, Lisa graduated from Lebanon Union High School. She then went on to study interior design and became a florist.

Lisa married Lester Morton and had two children. Lisa and her family were a part of Plainview Mennonite Church where she began to use her voice to spread the word of God. In 2006, Pastor Ron Wenning started Teen Challenge Ministries in Shedd and asked Lisa to lead worship. She had a voice that had the power to change someone's life. Lisa voice led many men struggling with addiction to the lord and still remained in contact with many of them who had graduated the program.

She will be remembered most for her open arms and her passion to help others. In 2013, she became a part of the Greater Albany Public Schools Transportation team and continued to spread her joy to all the kids and quickly had an amazing impact on her co-workers.

Survivors include her husband, Lester Morton; children Jaedon and Chastin Morton; and mother Margie Springer.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father John Springer.

Lisa ended her journey as a member of the Fusion Faith Center community and worship team.
