Lois Ann KriselerApril 20, 1934 - February 12, 2009Lois Ann Kriseler, 74 of Albany, passed away Thursday, February 12 at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.She was born in Birch Run, Michigan the daughter of Clinton and Gladys (Dunn) Kriseler.  Her parents divorced and her mother married George Guy who was a military man and the family moved to Washington then to Elsinore, California where Lois graduated from high school.  She went to work for Bell Telephone Co. as an operator and worked her way up to 2nd tier management before retiring from AT&T in Anaheim, CA..  After retirement Lois moved to Albany to be near family.  Lois enjoyed reading, sewing, decorating, traveling, flowers, current events, talking politics with friends and family, and her little dog Maxi.She had many friends at Bookdale Independent Living in Albany.Lois is survived by sisters Patricia and husband John Rice of Pasadena, and Kathlene Thompson of Albany; half brother Jack Kriseler of Michigan; half sister Connie Kriseler of Michigan; nieces Darlene and husband John Van Why of Albany, Patricia Thompson of Gresham, Debbie Hunt of Pasadena, Linda and husband Bill Blakely of Georgetown, TX, and Debbie and husband Mark Rice of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; and many great and great great nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
