Lynn, age 90, passed peacefully on May 12, 2017 in the Corvallis Hospital, with his family at his side.
Lynn was born in Dever Conner, just outside Millersburg, to William and Edna Hoefer.
He married Claudia June Hannon at the age of 30.
Lynn was a prominent farmer in the area, managing over three farms with hundreds of acres and many labor workers. He retired in his late 70s and spent most of his time with his family, enjoying his grandchildren and great-grandchildren on the family farm.
He was a generous Christian man and well loved by his family and close friends.
Lynn enjoyed gold mining, road trips, hunting and growing tomatoes in his garden.
He is survived by wife Claudia; son Greg; daughter Lisa Hoefer Zolla; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased in death by his first grandson Jeremy Lynn Hoefer.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at Dever Conner Community Church, Albany.
