Lynn Marie Schallig, 54, of Lebanon was promoted to Glory on September 6 in Albany. She was born in Walla Walla, Washington, to Karl and Carolyn Spalinger. She married Hans "Jaye" Schallig Jr. on June 13, 1981, in Walla Walla Washington
Lynn was a long-time active member of The Salvation Army Albany church and participated in frequent weekly programs. She was also a charter member of TOPS Club Chapter 1144.
Reading and play with her grandchildren were some of Lynn's favorite pastimes. Lynn was constantly opening her home to anyone who needed help. Countless "children" called her mom and their children called her "Grandma Lynn."
Lynn is survived by her husband, Hans "Jaye" Schallig Jr.; Son, Michael Alan Schallig; daughters, Colleen Renae Schallig and Elizabeth "Betsy" Marie Smith; brothers Darin, Warren, and Eric Spalinger; sister Jan Cannon; and four granddaughters: McKayla, Natalie, Alivia & Roselyn.
