Madeleine Nellie LarrisonSeptember 23, 1922 - August 16, 2008Madeleine Nellie Larrison, 85 of Albany passed away Saturday at her home surrounded by her family.She was born in Leavenworth, Kan., the second of ten children to parents Louis Harold and Grace Delores (Morris) Kane.  Madeleine grew up in Leavenworth and married Cecil Vernon Larrison in Atchison, Kan., on Sept. 22, 1940.  They moved to Albany in 1954 and Cecil preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 1991, after 51 years of marriage.  Madeleine enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, reading, traveling, and raising tomatoes in her vegetable garden.She is survived by son Cecil V. Larrison of Lapine; daughters Linda K. Teal of Salem and Karen S. Jacobson of Corvallis; grandchildren Cindee Larrison, Richard Larrison, Darin Teal, Mitchell Teal, Richard McMackin, and Ryan McMackin; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers George Kane of Montana, Raymond Kane of Cummings, Kan., and Morris Kane of Oswatmine, Kan.; sisters Mary Jones of Leavenworth, Kan., and Anita Trapp of Lansing, Kan.   She was preceded in death by three brothers Floyd, John, and Thomas Kane; and a sister Jane. At Madeleine's request no public services will take place.  Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
