Obituary
Marcy Taisey, 58, of Albany passed away Wednesday at her home.
She was born in Salem to Franklin and Marjorie (Murry) Ragsdale. She grew up in Mill City and graduated from Cascade High School.
On June 3, 1972, she married Terry D. Taisey in Salem. The couple made their home in Lebanon, then moved to Vancouver, Wash., for four years before returning to the Willamette Valley.
Marcy worked for Fidelity National Title for the past 10 years. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, rafting, attending a local Bible study and spending time with family and friends. Doing things for others was her greatest joy, along with being a grandmother. She spent many years on the board of KHPE.
She is survived by her husband, Terry of Albany; sons Kip and wife Leah of New York, N.Y., and Adam and wife Janice of Aloha; grandchildren Ethan Jacob and Keira Grace of Aloha; sister Connie Lou DeYoe of Keizer; and brother Michael Roy Ragsdale of Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of life will be at noon Tuesday, March 20, at the Albany Eagles Lodge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice.
