Margaret Kohler, 85, of Albany passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.
Margaret was born in Seattle, Wash., to Donald and Pearl Gawne.
She attended Holy Angels High School and Seattle University.
Margaret is survived by husband of 66 years, Charles E. Kohler; sons Charles D. Kohler and James G. Kohler; daughter Maureen Ableman and husband James Ableman; sister Eileen Miotke of Seattle, Wash.; grandchildren Molly Curtis, Joseph Ableman, Jaime Noack and Kaila Ann Kohler; great-grandchildren Aiden Curtis, Grace Curtis and Adi Ableman; and nieces Ann Baker and Susan Clark of Seattle, Wash.
Margaret was a loving wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed keeping a beautiful home and garden for all to enjoy.
A Mass was held for her on Thursday, Oct. 24, at St. Mary's church in Albany. A celebration of her life for family and friends will be held this spring.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in care of the funeral home.
