Marge C. Hosack, 73, of Albany passed away Friday afternoon at her home.
She was born in Rochester, N.H., to Philip and Betty (Ham) Coulombe, where she grew up and realized her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
She married Bob Hosack in June 1961. They moved to southern California in 1963 and then settled in Albany in 1965 where they raised three boys, Robert, Keith and Chad.
Marge worked at Albany General Hospital in the emergency room until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed traveling and made it to all the states and most of the national parks. She was preceded in death by parents.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; sons Robert and wife Julia, Keith and wife Teresa, and Chad and wife Mary Lou; sisters Phyllis Thurston and Carol Bianchi; and grandchildren Jeanne, Linden, Aaron, Jeremy and Jordan.
At Marge's request no public services will be held.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Samaritan Evergreen Hospice and sent in care of the funeral home.
