Martha Elmira CoferNov. 12, 1914 - Feb. 23, 2010Martha E. Cofer, 95, of Albany passed away Tuesday at her home.She was born in Murphy the daughter of Ira and Ada (McKinney) Huges.  Martha was raised in Napa Vine and married Hubert B. Cofer on Nov. 6, 1931, in Albany; they moved to Brownsville in 1950.  Hubert preceded her in death in July of 1986.  Martha's life centered around her family and she enjoyed reading, working puzzels, traveling, and eating out.She is survived by daughters, Linda and husband Fred Tonkin of Lebanon, and Sharon and husband Bernie Doyle of Albany; sons Art Cofer and wife Julie of Brownsville, Mel Cofer and wife Linda of Bend;  seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren;  sister Goldie Meyer of Dexter; and brother Elmer Lathrop of Blue River.At her request, there will be no public services.  Private entombment will be at Rest-Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum in Eugene.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements.  ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
