Martha Ann Foulke, 88, of Albany died on Thursday at Regency of Albany.
Martha was born in El Campo, Texas, to John Guthran and Sophia Mary (Rod) Martinak.
She moved with her family to Oregon in 1924. She graduated from Albany High School in 1942. She worked as a telephone operator in Albany before marrying Robert J. Foulke on March 18, 1946.
Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time camping with her family. When her children were a little older, Martha reentered the work force, employing her cooking skills at the Albany Care Center, where she worked as a kitchen aide from 1974 to 1984. In her later years, Martha continued her gardening and enjoyed sewing. She was a life member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Foulke; son Michael Foulke; and brothers Chuck Martinak, Amos, Robert and Raymond, and sister Wilma Smith.
She is survived by two sons, John Foulke and Ray Foulke, both of Hines; daughter Linda McDaniel of Bend; grandchildren Shannon Hammagren, Lisa King, Amy Kennedy, and Beth and Megan Foulke; great-grandchildren Tana Bishop, Bailey Allen and Cody King; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
