Mary Katherine Macdonald, 91, of Albany passed away Thursday at Timberview Care Center.
Mary was born in Maryville, Mo., to Ira Bert and Mary Magdeline (Weisenberger) Hiatt.
She married Rodman Macdonald on Saturday, Feb. 13, 1943, in Joplin, Mo. Mary worked in nursing and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albany.
Mary is survived by daughters Bonnie K. Messier of Virginia and Shirley A. Shilling of Albany; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rodman; parents Ira and Mary Hiatt; stepmother Nora Hiatt Bloomfield; sister Gertrude Wilmes; stepsister Lucile Gray; and brothers Arthur Hiatt, John Hiatt and Alfred Hiatt.
At Mary's request there will be no public service.
