Dad was born in Mitchell, Oregon on June 14, 1929. He died in Albany, Oregon on February 3, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis Anne Helms, on May 18, 2023. He is survived by daughters, Claudia (Bothwell) Dean and Robin Hawley, his grandsons, Dustin Bothwell, Nicholas Bothwell, Tyler Dean, Cody Dean, Steven Hawley, Basil Hawley, and his great-grandsons, Drake Bothwell, Deegan Bothwell, Declan Bothwell, and William Hawley.
