Michael "Danny" BollaNov. 23, 1945 - Sept. 14, 2007Mr. Danny Bolla, 61, of Brownsville, OR, died September 14, 2007 at home from cancer. Mr. Bolla was born on November 23, 1945 in Bellflower, CA the son of Athons and Jean Bolla. At age 18, Mr Bolla enlisted in the Army and served two tours during the Vietnam War. Mr. Bolla was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for valor and injuries stained in combat.Following his military service, Mr. Bolla moved to Kalispell, Montana and was the proprietor of Bolla PreCast Concrete Products and Bolla Trucking. Mr. Bolla moved to Lane County in 2001, and employee with Albany Trucking, Weyerhauser.Mr. Bolla is survived by his wife Paulette L. Bolla of Brownsville, OR; mother Jean Christoffers and sister Janis Piper of Bend, OR; his son Michael Wade Bolla of Long Valley, NJ, daughter Stacy Bolla Hughes and their mother Judy Bolla of Kalispell, MT; step son Ryan Campbell of Fort Wayne, Indiana, step daughter Abbrielle L. Bessett and her husband Zack Bessett of Eugene, OR, and 6 grandchildren.Visitation will take place on Monday, from 3-7 pm at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 2 pm at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. Military honors and burial service will take place in Fort Meyers, Virginia at Arlington National Cemetery.
