Michael Ray Pamplin, 63, left this earth to be with his God doing what he so enjoyed doing, riding his motorcycle.
Michael was born in Corvallis to Raymond and Pauline Pamplin. He grew up in the Alsea/Albany area. He later moved to Oklahoma where he finished his college education.
In 1972, he met Annette Ross in Oklahoma. They married in 1973, and then moved to Oregon in 1978.
He was known for his big smile and how much he cared for his family and friends.
Mike was preceded in death by his mom and dad.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Annette; brother Mick of Salem; son Bobby and wife Sue of Philomath; granddaughter Akaska; and six nieces and nephews. His extended family is too large to number.
He will be greatly missed by his wife and many others.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, at the Alsea Cemetery. A procession of his family of riders to Alsea Cemetery will preceded the service. Please arrive at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home no later than 11:15 a.m. to ride in the procession.
