Michael Ray Ramirez, 65, of Albany passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Peace Health Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Michael was born in Lexington, Nebraska, to Pete and Dorothy Ramirez. His family moved to Oregon when he was very young. Michael attended elementary school in Tangent and graduated from Albany Union High School. He worked for Ormet his entire adult career.
Michael enjoyed rock and roll music, watching movies and doing things around the house.
Michael is survived by wife, Kathleen Ramirez; father Pete Ramirez; and sister Roberta and husband Leon Walter.
He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy; and brother Dave Ramirez.
An open house gathering of friends and family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 6, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
