Obituary
Nancy Elizabeth Harper 77, of Albany, passed away on Thursday at Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.
Nancy was born in Salem to William and Elsie (Allison) Bone. She grew up in the Salem area, and graduated from Salem High School in 1954. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree and then married Richard Lee Harper on March 15, 1966, in Salem. They lived in Port Orford for a couple of years before moving to San Ramon, Calif. In 1976 they came to Albany, and have been here since that time.
Nancy worked for the Linn County Assessor's Office and retired in 1992.
She enjoyed embroidery and reading.
Nancy is survived by husband Richard L. Harper of Albany; daughter Elizabeth Graham of Longmont, Colo.; grandchildren Patrick Graham of Denver, Colo., and Sarah Graham of Westminster, Colo.
Services will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice or the ABC House in care of the funeral home.
