Obituary
Nancy Lorraine Sheffold, 82, of Albany passed away on Thursday at Quail Run.
Nancy was born in Portland to Harvey and Georgia (Martin) Lusk. She grew up in Portland and moved to Bend when she was in junior high. Nancy graduated from Bend High School and married her high school sweet heart, William "Bill" Sheffold, in Bend on Dec. 16, 1950.
Nancy was an Air Force wife and they lived in many places such as Turkey, Germany, England, Norway and Korea to name a few. She enjoyed reading, needle point, knitting, sewing and traveling with Bill. Nancy was preceded in death by Bill in September of 2005.
Nancy is survived by son David Sheffold of Albany; daughter Sandra Newcomb of Vancouver, Wash.; sister Sue Ann Hagen of Medford; and a grandson serving in the U.S. Air force.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Martin Lusk.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in care of the funeral home.
