NORMA LOUISE FOLMSBEEJan. 27, 1935 - Aug. 2, 2009)Norma Folmsbee passed away August 2, 2009 after a lengthy illness, at her home of 42 years in Albany.Norma was born on January 27, 1935.  She met Harrold Folmsbee in Toledo at the young age of 17 and they were married on September 18, 1953 in Toledo, Oregon.  After living a number of years in the Toledo area, they moved to the Valley and eventually bought their property in Albany and have lived there for the past 42 years. Norma and Harrold enjoyed farming, raising animals together, and hunting.  In their retirement years they enjoyed traveling together, as well.  Norma enjoyed gardening, and making floral arrangements and planning events for friends and family.  In her younger years, she was a "stay at home" Mom and enjoyed raising her children and taking a part in their school activities.She also enjoyed being a member of the Eagles and playing Bingo with her friends.Norma is survived by her husband of 55 years Harrold of Albany, four children, five grandchildren, three sister's, and two brothers.  Norma will be missed by all who knew her.A memorial for Norma will be held at a later day at the Albany Eagles.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
