Obituary

Norma Irene Forbes, 98, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 1.
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at the Lebanon First Assembly of God Church.
Born in Albany, Norma lived most of her live in Lebanon before returning to live in Albany in 2011. She married Wayne G. Forbes who preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1980.
Norma had a servant's heart and spent a large part of her adult life as pastor's wife in the communities of Monroe, Halsey and Glendale. After Norma's husband's death, she continued working and honoring the Lord through her volunteer activities of more than 10 years at the Lebanon Senior Center. Normal also assisted in delivering food to those in need with the Meals on Wheels program into her early 90s.
Norma was a prayer warrior, spending countless hours remembering her family in prayer on a daily basis. Norma was an avid reader and will be remembered for her sense of humor.
The couple had five children with daughter Rebecca Ballinger and son Kerry Forbes preceding her in death. She was also preceded in death by per parents, Aaron and Hazel Sutter, three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Wayne Kreitman, and son and daughter-in-law Gary and Sanda Forbis, all of Albany; son Vaughn Forbes of Junction City; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
