Norma Jean TateAugust 8, 1928 - August 26, 2008Norma Jean Tate, 79 of Albany passed away Tuesday at Timberview Care Center.Norma was born in Primrose, Neb., the daughter of Floyd and Bertha (Hemmingsen) Waymire. She attended Kearney Teacher's College and received her certificate of Education. Norma lived in Albany for many years and enjoyed crosswords, game shows, cards, fried chicken, and most of all visiting with friends and family.She is survived by daughters Diana Murrell of Chicago, Ill., LuAnn and husband Lynn Pearson of Albany, Janeen and husband Dave Hodges of Beaverton, Monique and husband Dave Duncan of Fairbanks, Alaska, Marjorie and husband Raymond Hogle of Albany, Robin Tate of Scio, and Denise and husband Glen McCartney of McMinnville; son Robert Tate of Albany; brothers Willis Waymire and wife Betty of Virginia and James Waymire and wife Phyllis of Nebraska; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Gerald, harley and Eldon.A Celebration of Life potluck will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Timberlinn Park for Norma's family and friends.
