Olive June Headings RothJune 28, 1928 - May 30, 2009Olive Roth, 80, died Saturday in Albany at Quail Run Assisted Living.She was born in Hubbard, Oregon to Elmer & Ada Headings, the youngest of 15 children.Olive worked at Cent-Wise and Darlene's Bakery before she was married, and drove a 1928 Model-A car, which she was quite proud of.Her hobbies included reading, cross-stitch, coffee and dessert with friends.Olive married Wilmer Roth on October 3, 1948. Wilmer preceded her in death on May 13, 2004.Olive and Wilmer raised their family on the farm where they lived 52 years. A lifelong member of Fairview Mennonite Church, Olive was a faithful attendee until the last few months of her life.Olive was known by her family and close friends as a devoted prayer warrior. Her family and friends always knew that she was praying for them. Olive also enjoyed teaching Sunday School, helping with ladies Bible Study, attending Women's Mennonite Sewing Circle, and volunteering at the ET Cetera Shop in Lebanon.Olive is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Dan and Dorie Roth of Lebanon, and Duane and Sandi Roth of Siletz; daughters and sons-in-law Jerrolyn and Chester Mast of Chesapeake, Va., and Marilyn and Lynn Kropf of Albany; sister Clysta Buerge; brother Vernon Headings; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Viewing will from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Mennonite Church. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the church, with burial to follow at Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.Memorial contributions in Olive's memory are suggested to Wycliffe Bible Translators.AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements (
