Patsy Clarice Rowson, 69, went to be with her Savior on April 16.
She was born in Humphrey, Ark., the daughter of C.Gordon and Lora Almeda Sinclair (Pruett). The family moved to Oregon in 1960 and resided in the Jefferson area. Patsy married Larry Rowson in June of 1962 and settled in Albany where they maintained a home for the next 48 years.
Patsy loved her family and looked forward to spending time with her kids and grandkids. She enjoyed taking walks and meeting people, music and spending time in nature. She also always looked forward trips to Nevada and the annual Oktoberfest in Mount Angel. Her life was guided by her relationship with Jesus and her strong faith. One of her greatest passions was praying for her family every day.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and sister Velva Morris.
She is survived by her husband, Larry; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Angie Rowson; son and daughter-in-law Brian and Katherine Rowson; sister Joy Boling; brother Leo Burlison; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Jefferson Pioneer Cemetery.
