Peggy Lee (Edwards) Corwin passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her home in Albany, Oregon, surrounded by her family. 

Born September 9, 1947, in Redmond, Oregon, she was the youngest daughter of Roy M. and Dora Edwards. On February 11, 1966 she married Ronald Corwin on the steps of the Deschutes County Courthouse in front of Judge D.L. Penhollow. 

Peggy had a very outgoing personality with a smile that would light up the room. She was also a great cook and on October 31, 1977 she and Ron purchased the Do Drop In, a tiny cafe in Redmond Oregon. The name was changed to Peggy's Cafe, and she was cooking for many. 

Peggy fiercely battled Multiple Sclerosis for almost six decades, she never let it define who she was, she remained positive and upbeat. 

Peggy was proceeded in death by her parents, sister Hazel (Edwards) Hall, brother Roy Dale Edwards. She is Survived by her husband, children Alvin Chad Corwin and Dodee Corwin (Gary Alan) Sawyers; grandchildren Aaron Hamilton, Elizabeth Sawyers, Kassidy Sawyers and great grandson Boden Alan Sawyers. She also leaves behind two wonderful caregivers Jessica Herrera and Christina Savage.
