Perry A. DavisFeb. 26, 1938 - June 6, 2008Perry A. Davis, 70, of Albany, went to be his Lord and Savior on Friday.He was born in Albany, the son of Arthur B. and Juliet D. (Kaminski) Davis. He was raised in Albany and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1957. Perry worked his entire life in farming and enjoyed gardening. He was a charter member of Dever-Conner Community Church and a member of the Albany Eagles Lodge. He is survived by wife Dorothy Winings-Davis of Albany; sons Jeff Davis and Joe Davis, both of Albany, and Jason Davis of Keizer; stepsons Dan and Richard Winings, both of Albany; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Gertrude Wahlgren of Florida and Mary Pickrow of Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Dever-Conner Community Church.
