Phyllis May AerniMay 29, 1929 - March 18, 2008Phyllis May Aerni, 78, of Albany passed away peacefully from this life to be with her lord and personnel savior Tuesday after a short battle with cancer.Phyllis was born in Jamestown, N.D. She was the only child of John and Martha (Krien) Wagner; the family moved to Albany, OR in July of 1936.Phyllis graduated from Laurelwood Academy, where she met Dan C. Aerni. They married in April of 1948 and later divorced in January of 1987.Phyllis is survived by sons Monte Aerni and wife Patricia of Spokane, Wash., and Steven Aerni and wife Nancy of Albany; grandchildren Joshua Cooper, Jessica Price, Travis Aerni, Desiree Horn, Justin Aerni, and Morgan Aerni; and eight beautiful great grandchildren. "Grandma Aerni" will truly be missed by these wonderful kids.Phyllis lived many years along the coast and fell in love with the beach. Her spirit will always be free along the Oregon coast. Phyllis, being a private person in her own loving ways, requested no public services be held.
