March 15, 1932 – May 3, 2022
Dayle began her life in Tingley, Iowa. She moved to Oregon with her family of two older sisters (Faith and Donna) and her parents (Bert and Eliza Creveling) when she was fifteen. There she met Alda Lou Harvey Jewell (sister to Vern A. Harvey) and they became fast friends. Dayle married Vern, May 20, 1949. They had five children (Don Harvey, Berlee McEwen, Chrissy Small, Melody Loomis and Tami Harvey) all who are living, and serving the Lord due to her strong faith. They added eleven grandkids, twenty-one great grandkids, and one great-great-grandchild to the family.
Dayle and Vern divorced October 1970 after 22 years of marriage. She then married Paul D Collins, Dec. 18, 1971, adding two more daughters (Sheryl Haumschilt and Nadyne Ichimura) who eventually added many grandkids and great-grandkids and even great-great-grandkids to the mix. Paul died April 5, 2005.
Dayle married William Campbell Dale, Jr. Nov. 14, 2010. Bill passed on Sept. 2, 2015. Tami cared for Mom off and on for 20 years, with the most care being provided following Bill's death. In July of 2021, we moved Mom to Yuma, Arizona where Chrissy who over Mom's care.
Dayle started Leb-Ply Federal Credit Union which served the employees of Champion International in Lebanon. She started as a volunteer and grew it to the point when it was merged with Linnco Federal Credit Union at which pint she retired May 4, 1984....20 years later when Champion closed.
The celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. on July 15, 2022, at AAsum Dufour Funeral Home in Albany, Oregon. Reception will follow.
Please join family in celebrating and rejoicing in a life well-lived here on earth and continuing without pain in Heaven! Dancing on streets of gold!
