Ralph Beggs, age 79 of Turner, died of pancreatic cancer on Friday, May 7th at his home, surrounded by family.

Ralph was born in Oakhill, Oklahoma, to Henry and Mamie (Williams) Beggs. He retired from Duraflake Weyerhauser after 42 years. He enjoyed the Woodburn auction, raising cattle, traveling, various projects and gardening. But most of all, he enjoyed his family.

Ralph is survived by Linda, his wife of 61 years; sons Patrick and Steve; daughter Rebecca Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his son Lewi Lynn, all six of his siblings, and his parents.

A celebration of life service will be on Sunday, June 6 at 4:00 PM at Salem Heights Church located at 375 Madrona Ave S. in Salem. Memorial contributions may be made to Doernbecher Children's Hospital in care of the funeral home.
