Richard 'Dick' Good, 70, of Tangent passed away on Wednesday surrounded by his family.
Born and raised in Tangent, Dick's love of farming, old cars and John Deere Tractors was well known throughout the Willamette Valley. He also enjoyed the outdoors; camping, fishing and boating was how he liked to spend his free time. Dick was a long time member of the Albany Eagles Lodge.
Dick is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lauretta Good; daughters Irene Good, Pamela Good and husband Jamie Leatherbee, and Melinda Good-Galluzzo and husband Phil Galluzzo; grandsons Zackery and Joshua Hollister; step-daughter Sherry Rector and her sons, Duane and David; mother Dorothy Good; brother Dan Good and wife Carrie; sister Millie Mittleberger and husband Mike; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Good.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at South Albany Community Church with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House in care of the funeral home.
