Rick Duaine Francis passed away February 13, 2025. He was 57 years old. He was born April 23, 1967, in Great Lakes, Illinois to Harold and Barbara Francis.

He graduated in 1985 from Kelso High School, Kelso, Washington. After graduation, He proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was deployed during the Gulf War as a hospital corpsman who served in combat with the 1st Marine Division in 29 Palms, California. After leaving the military he received his degree in Computer Science and worked at Intel and Microsoft in the Research and Development Department. He retired in 2014 to spend more time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother Barbara Francis, sister Shawn Larson, daughter Amina Fae (Louis), daughter Rachael Snyder, daughter Caitlyn Castañeda-Ruiz (Peter), the mother of his children Teri Burris, 8 grandchildren, niece Amanda Baasch, 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father and a niece.
