Robert Edward Bonney 64 of Brownsville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, at his home.
Robert was born in Seattle, WA to Robert Earl and June Claire (Koch) Bonney .
Robert graduated from High School in Missippi and then entered the Coast Guard. He owned and operated his own businesses dealing with diesel and heavy equipment. Most recently he had Mid-Valley Tractor in Eugene.
In 1997 he married Cindy L. Turk.
He enjoyed hunting, guns, riding ATV's and the outdoors. He loved giving more than anything and helping other people made him the happiest. His kindness touched so many people. He was a true southern gentleman.
Robert is survived by wife Cindy Turk-Bonney of Brownsville; daughters Suzi Wilson and Cindy Duncan both of Sitka, Alaska and Reba Howard of Montana; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family service will take place at a later date.
The family would like the thank Evergreen Hospice for all of their support.
Memorial contributions may be made to Safe Haven in care of the funeral home.
