Robert Sylvester FeuersteinMay 18, 1915 - January 13, 2008Robert S. Feuerstein, 92 of Albany, passed away Sunday, January 13, at Timberwood Court.He was born May 18, 1915 in Albany, Oregon the son of Joseph and Ruth (Halsey) Feuerstein. He was raised in Albany and graduated from Albany High School in 1932. Robert worked for Borden's Creamery and then went to work for M & M Plywood Mill later known as Simpson's. He married Jessie Paula Fryman on October 3, 1952 in Reno, NV. and Robert retired in 1977. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening and he had been a member of the Albany Elks Lodge.He is survived by wife Jessie Feuerstein of Salem, daughters Betty Hall of Albany and Susan Newhaus of Lacomb, OR. and sons Robert R. Feuerstein of Eugene, and Larry D. Feuerstein of Junction City. and step-son Bill Bader of Salem. 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
