Robert Lee "Rob" Davis, 52, of Albany died Thursday surrounded by his family at his home.
Rob was born in Albany, the son of Jeff and Neva Davis.
He had a deep love for his family and friends, which was apparent to all of those who knew him. He worked at Probuild in Tangent. Rob's interests included tinkering with motors, riding his Harley, fishing and hunting. One of his favorite sayings was: "Life is an adventure, Lets ride." The words his friends and customers heard him say often was: "Consider it done."
Rob is survived by wife Cherry Davis; daughters Erica and husband Adam Hedgpeth of Albany, Heidi and husband Andrew Phillips of Sweet Home, and Jamie Davis and friend A.J. Martin of Oregon City; son Jefferson Davis of Salem; brother William B. Davis of Crabtree; sisters Debrah Wahab of San Bruno, Calif., and Karen M Maxfield of Crabtree; and grandchildren Timothy, Katie and Megan Hedgpeth, Brayden Allison and Jaxson Phillips, and Jacob Davis.
He was preceded in death by parents Jeff and Neva Davis.
Visitation will be from noon to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at Oak Creek Christian Center, 5775 Columbus St. S.E., with a graveside to follow at Willamette Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
