Roberto Aguilar, 77, of Jefferson died Friday at his home.

Roberto was born in Reynosa, Mexico. He married Belia Aguilar and they celebrated their 55th anniversary in January.

Roberto retired from Wah Chang in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, camping and woodworking.

Roberto was preceded by his parents, Florinto and Martina Aguilar; and son John Aguilar.

He is survived by his wife, Belia; sons Robert Jr. and Xaiver; daughters Norma Endicot, Dora Lehman and Victoria Fraley; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.

Roberto lived in Jefferson for over 50 years and was well known and respected in the community.

A viewing will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29, and services will follow at 4 p.m., all at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
