Rodney Clarence SandbergNovember 28, 1956 - May 17, 2008Rodney C. Sandberg, 51, of Albany, passed away Saturday at his residence.He was born in Torrance, Calif., the son of Clarence E. and Hilda (Rachel) Sandberg. He was raised in Torrance and came to Albany in 1996. Rodney enjoyed music and going to the coast. He is survived by his mother Hilda Sandberg of Albany; sister Bethene "Beth" Walls of Albany; brothers Roger of North Dakota, Wesley of Utah, Wallace of California, and Bradley of Scio; daughter Desiree Sandberg of California; and girlfriend Debbie Martino of Salem. He was preceded in death by son Rodney Carl Sandberg and father Clarence E. Sandberg.A Memorial service will be at 2 pm Saturday, May 31 at Albany First Christian Church.
