Rosemary Paullin

Rosemary Paullin, 83, of Albany passed away on Friday after a long fight with the affects of Parkinsons, at A Peace of Mind adult foster care, with family at her side.
Rosemary was born in Klamath Falls to Henry and Vevia (Plumlee) Myers. She married Forrest E. Paullin on Saturday, Feb. 28, 1948, in Reno, Nev. She loved to sing and dance and was involved in productions with the Albany Choristers. Rosemary enjoyed sewing and crafts of all kinds. She was an excellent cook and loved to cook for large family gatherings and entertain friends. In her years of good health there were always beautiful vegetable and flower gardens. She loved her animals as deeply as her human family members. She was a very loving person and would always ask if there was something she could do for you, even through her illness.
Rosemary is survived by daughters Roselea McDowell and husband Gary, and Katherine E. Maas and husband Larry, all of Albany; sons Marion E. Paullin II and wife Tammie of White City and Michael L. Paullin and wife Candy of Albany; brother Charles H. Moore of Salton Sea, Calif.; sister-in-law Dolores Ponticelli of San Jose, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Forrest in 2004; brother Lloyd Myers; brother-in-law Tony Ponticelli; and feline companions Alley, Cocoa and Opal.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, Willamette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice, SafeHaven Humane Society or CATS adoption in Medford in care of the funeral home.
